Scottish Premiership supporters have been having their say following the weekend fixtures.

Here are a selection of responses...

'Give Gordon a knighthood'

Leaders Hearts secured a 1-0 win at Dundee following Claudio Braga's first-half goal, with substitute goalkeeper Craig Gordon making a stunning late save.

Braga was replaced by Gordon after Alexander Schwolow was sent off near half-time...

Fergus: We haven't played well in quite a few results and got away with it! Second half was absolutely stellar and Craig Halkett is showing more and more as to why he should be on the plane with Scotland! Running out of superlatives for Craig Gordon, but that save could win us the league.

Alfo: Tempting though it is to put this victory down to a great Claudio Braga strike and an eye-popping save from Gordon that appeared to defy the laws of physics, it was just as much attributable to the mental fortitude of the whole team in the second half. A deserved victory, well done the Jambos.

Alan: I think it's pretty easy to make a case that Gordon is the best footballer I've ever seen in a maroon jersey.

Peter: Gordon, like a good malt whisky, gets even better with age! Outstanding save at the death and no doubt Steve Clarke will be almost as pleased as we are! We overcame a strong Dundee side, and as Derek McInnes stated, these tight wins are what winning the league is all about.

Jason: Sir Craig Gordon. Give him a knighthood right now! And a start between the sticks in the summer.

Steve: One of the best saves you'll ever see at any level of football. The definition of world class. Name a stand at Tynecastle after the man!

Dundee fans reflected on a near miss...

John: Think we deserved a draw. Great save from Gordon but Hearts timewasting was annoying. Only three minutes of injury time. Results yesterday helped us before game.

Steve: Great performance from the Dee and unlucky not to get at least a point. The work that Pressley and the coaching team have been doing is evident for all to see. Perhaps the naysayers will get off the club's back.

Iain: A great save from Gordon but there's no doubt we were robbed by appalling officiating - there's no way Hearts goal should have been allowed, they took their free-kick a long way from where the 'offence' was. Where was VAR?

Martin: Should have got more from the game. We played well but missed Yan Dhanda's creativity in midfield. Three minutes added time? Hearts time wasted time the whole of the second half (which the weak referee passively ignored) and there were several substitutes. Keep it going Dundee, we are playing some really good stuff and there is a bit of grit in the team that was missing early season.

'Rohl has done an amazing job'

Later on Sunday, Rangers won 2-0 at Aberdeen to stay within three points of Hearts, who have a midweek game in hand...

Stewart: These are the games I'm glad we are winning now - the tough ones. Not the best first half but much improved second half. In my opinion still far off a serious title charge unless we continue to strengthen in a tough window.

Elaine: Brilliant result for Rangers. Nine points out of nine against Aberdeen and Celtic would have been unthinkable just a couple of months ago. Now the other teams know we are right up there. Well done Danny Rohl. You've got us playing electric!

Derek: Good solid performance all round! I can't remember such an easy game up there for a long time. Could and should've won by a lot more. Keep Rohl-ing along.

Lennie: Great three points considering the atrocious weather conditions. With the right January signings, we have a real chance of achieving silverware this season. Manager has done an amazing job with the players at his disposal.

Robert: 2-0 flattered Aberdeen. Didn't see anything wrong with the disallowed goal. Rohl has Rangers moving in the right direction but we need to be more clinical in front of goal. The way things are going the league could well be decided on goal difference.

Ronnie: Another massive three points at a venue which we have struggled to get points. Mohamed Diamonde was a standout, Youssef Chermiti led the line impressively and should probably have scored. Emmanuel Fernandez is a real threat at set-pieces. Still room for improvement but a good transfer window and players returning from injury gives Rangers fans real hope that we could incredibly win this title.

Aberdeen fans were unimpressed with their side...

Calum: For a team that's been told they have six months to prove themselves, they don't seem to be willing to put a shift in.

Mike: Club's been mismanaged for years, full of players not fit to wear the shirt. We need a clear out from top to bottom and if that's in the championship then so be it, we are poor everywhere on the pitch.

Campbell: Horrendous performance. No heart, no fight and absolutely nothing to give us any hope. Confidence is shot but that doesn't excuse the lack of effort. Quite a few players really need to look at themselves in the mirror. Recall the youngsters from loan and give them the opportunity to show what they can do.

Ally: Absolutely toothless again. A bunch of show ponies who can't play as a team. Every single team in the league, from top to bottom, knows exactly how to play against us.

Euan: Disjointed. Dispirited. Disappointing. There is clearly a disconnect within the group of players. Some did not look interested in the slightest when the first goal was scored from yet another set piece.

'A solid victory - O'Neill & Maloney have restored stability'

Celtic returned to winning ways on Saturday with a 4-0 defeat of Dundee United...

Finn: A solid victory by Celtic. Martin O'Neill and Shaun Maloney have restored stability. They are the long-term management option, and should be given immediate transfer control. Key players, such as Daizen Maeda and Yang Hyun-jun, should be retained with significantly improved contracts, if possible. They are proven goal scorers.

Liam: A really good performance with players knowing their positions and looking effective. We still lack a striker of quality and until we sign at least one we won't maximise taking our chances. But it is a great start.

Gerard: Blessed relief! The transformation within a week was staggering. Assured, confident, composed and clinical. The stands were at peace; smiles, jocularity and hope have returned. O'Neill, Maloney and their team are doing a terrific job, onwards and upwards.

Dave: Back to basics, keeping it simple and back to winning ways, football isn't complicated, you need to score more goals than you concede and win games of football. The difference in the players' body language is unbelievable. Simply have to get a number nine in that team or we are toast.

Kev: Much better, a lot more fluency to the play. Players looked comfortable with the team set up, four goals against a team intent on damage limitation.

Mike: A breath of fresh air. Stronger at the back, dynamic up front. A complete performance. If we can add quality to the squad, this could yet be a successful season.

Dundee United supporters endured successive defeats...

John: It's not a game that decides the season, but it should serve as a reminder that we are closer to a relegation scrap than aiming for Europe. Conceding too many at the back and not offering enough going forward will leave us in a dog fight after the split.

George: I haven't been critical of Jim Goodwin all season but why when facing a Celtic team not at their best he was so negative in team selection I can't comprehend. Everyone knew they would get a bounce off the back of Martin O'Neill's return but to invite them to attack after attack was asking for problems. We should have been more positive and tried to get them on the back foot. I'm prepared to let this one go but hope to seem a more positive team selection for the rest of the season.

Paul: Goodwin is a terrible manager but thinks he's a tactical genius. Terrible formation and tactics again. Changed the system at half-time, like he does most weeks because he got it wrong initially. United are better than this. Goodwin has to go.

Jimmy: Outclassed by a mediocre Celtic. Goodwin has reached his limit. For a time it was win one, lose one. Now the players look lost and their quality is being found out. Absolutely shocking.

'Played well in spells but a lot of negative play too'

Hibernian and Motherwell, two of the Scottish Premiership's most impressive teams this season, drew 1-1 and Hibs fans had plenty to say...

Ringo: More points dropped. I feel Hibs lack one or two players to drive us forward and go for the win. This was another two points dropped, I feel just go for it, it's not rocket science. Far too slow getting the ball forward and didn't create enough chances in my opinion but again most Hibs fans will say a draw against Motherwell is a good result. I don't know if we want to catch the teams above us.

Colin: Motherwell are a decent side but our quality and decision making in the last third let us down. The game was there to be won, but a point wasn't a bad outcome in what is a very competitive league.

Gordon: Decent point from a game between two evenly matched teams, but what is blindingly obvious is that we, like most teams I suppose, badly need a reliable proven goal scorer. Once again created decent chances but failed to trouble the 'Well goalie. Kieron Bowie is undoubtedly a talented player but is clearly not an out and out goal scorer while Thibault Klidje, in albeit limited gametime, rarely looks like scoring.

Kenny: We played well in spells but there was a lot of negative play too. I feel if we went at teams more with more aggression we would win more games. We pass back far too much and the passing's not great at times. We need to go at teams a lot more than we do. A point is a point, though, but we can do better.

Stephen: A draw is better than a loss, Elie Youan was wasteful, his final pass letting him and the team down. We paid a fortune for a striker who can't get a start.

...as did Motherwell supporters...

Colin: One of Motherwell's toughest games this season. Players should show a bit of grit and determination as some of our players weren't at their best today. Yet another game without a so called recognised striker, don't think the manager fancies who we have. Need to ship them out and get a decent striker in.

Derek: Thought we started slowly in the first half and struggled to get to grips with Hibs and then were the better side for the last 20 minutes of first half, second half we played okay, had the best chances and should've won it at the end, obviously needing a striker and that's something Jens Berthel Askou is working on and it was great to see Jordan McGhee make his debut after a long time out injured.

Stuart: Tough game, thought we had the better of the chances, but a draw was probably a fair result.

Grant: Can't complain about a point at Easter Road. Tawanda Maswanhise has been immense and hopefully like our manager and other players that we can keep them for the second half of the season, we missed Elliot Watt but other players have to step up.

James: Not at our best. Gave away possession far too often. Several players were off the boil. However, would probably have taken a point before the game, so not too bad of a result. Again, we were wasteful of chances. Onwards we go.

'Masterclass from McGlynn'

Falkirk were 2-0 winners away to St Mirren, to the delight of travelling Bairns...

Nathan: A great way to combat the cold, I thought in the first half both sides cancelled each other out well but in the second half we grew in confidence. Finn Yeats scores a lovely goal and I'm delighted for the lad, he's had to wait a while to get a go in the first team followed by Calvin Miller's great finish in the second half. New signing Ben Parkinson impressed me in his cameo, looks like he's willing to get about the opponent and make some very fast runs in behind.

Ian B: We keep getting better and better, good starting XI as well as a very strong bench, an excellent first half of the season, let's hope the second half is equally as good.

David: Masterclass from John McGlynn. Changed the shape to a diamond to nullify the threat from a very physical St Mirren side. Eventually, after wearing down the St Mirren thrust, we countered very well in the second period and converted the opportunities when they came along.

Neil: Absolutely brilliant, every week this season just gets better and better. The management and players have to take huge credit for how we have taken to this league. Players that got us out of League 1 have stepped up big time and the new additions have been superb too. The fact we can now go to places like Motherwell, Aberdeen, St Mirren and get results shows how we are growing. Such a good feeling around the club now.

Tommy: It's time the board for Falkirk Football Club get McGlynn on an extended contract before we lose him in the coming months. I write this in a panic, after the Falkirk performance away from home to St Mirren. We must at all cost keep him at Falkirk.

Ian H: Another away end sold out and it's this fantastic support on the road that has a huge influence on the team. Add that to the brilliant management from John and Paul Smith and the vision of a great board of directors and the wee big team fully deserve their place in the top six. Falkirk are a superb addition to the Premiership. They are a great watch and fingers crossed they can strengthen again for next season and consolidate their position as a well run top-flight club.

St Mirren fans were less enthused...

Chris: Worst performance of the season. Falkirk played us off the pitch and not one player took responsibility. Shambolic. Worrying times, only positive is Livingston and Kilmarnock are in an even worse state.

Stuart: What a pitiful display yet again. Falkirk too nippy for our pedestrian carthorses. Second string players thrown on to attempt a rescue. Bottom-six looking certain.

Marshall: Not good enough, gave nothing in the second half. Too many wrong decisions in forward areas, we really need reinforcements in the transfer window.

Alistair: That was dreadful, we weren't helped by injuries but the fit players didn't step up, we didn't win second balls, the midfield were overrun and lightweight and overall they made poor decisions. Good support from Falkirk.

'Same players, same tactics, same claims of being unlucky'

Livingston and Kilmarnock drew 1-1 and Livi supporters were frustrated...

Mike: What happened to Robbie Hunter getting some game time? With both the new signings getting on it must leave doubts in Robbie's mind.

Paul: I think it's fair to say we are going back down. We have a great owner and board. David Martindale is committed to helping the club but we are going back down and we should start planning for that now.

Kyle: As I always say it's either the referees or luck that's stopped us from winning games, I believe that Davie is the man to stick by until the end of the season and we will assess options then but it doesn't help the fact that Livi are 154 days without a win but it should have ended.

Kev: Good game to watch, though ruined by another inept official who will not be held accountable, there needs to be some redress/accountability, clubs, managers, players and fans are suffering due to officials not being of a competent standard.

Del: Didn't play new signings enough. Same players, same tactics, same claims of being unlucky. Madness is doing the same thing and expecting different results. Good players, not being coached well or executing tactics effectively. Something has to change or relegation is inevitable.

Meanwhile, Killie fans got their first view of their team under new manager Neil McCann...

Tony: Hopefully coming from behind will give the squad a much need confidence boost. The manager now has a couple of weeks before the next league game to work with the squad plus our cup game next week.

Jim: All the talk from Neil McCann but nothing has changed. A non-existent midfield, a weak defence and forwards that are the worst in the division. We need new players fast.

Keren: Subs made a difference and Marcus Dackers' celebration showed how much the players care. Michael Schjonning-Larsen looked composed. Everyone is well aware of the issues we have this season but there has never been a lack of endeavour from players whose confidence must be rock bottom. If they are backed we have a chance of staying in this league.

Kenny: Referee bottled it by not giving their centre-half a second booking early in the game. That would have changed the dynamics of the game. It's clear that we need at least a couple of new faces in the January window as we'll be lucky to finish 11th with the current crop.

William: On the bright side we can look forward to cracking derbies between Ayr United next season.
