Top-flight German football is being shown live on the BBC this season after rights were secured to broadcast Friday night Bundesliga matches through to 2027.

The coverage will continue on Friday, 28 November where RB Leipzig look to close the gap on league leaders Bayern Munich as they travel to in-form Borussia Monchengladbach.

All matches will be available to watch live on the BBC Sport website, app and on BBC iPlayer every Friday, with clips of the biggest in-game moments across BBC Sport's social media channels.

Borussia Monchengladbach are in a rich vein of form having won their last three matches which has turned their season around. Prior to this run, they were winless and sat at the bottom of the table with just three points from their opening eight fixtures.

Their three wins in the Bundesliga have all come in the month of November and has seen them score ten goals and concede only once. Another win would complete a perfect November for Gladbach and make them the only team in the Bundesliga to not drop points during the month.

RB Leipzig are hoping to continue their best start to a season after 11 matches since their first season in the Bundesliga. They have 25 points from a potential 33 this season and will look to add another win to close the gap on league leaders Bayern Munich to just three points.

The Red Bulls enjoyed their best result of the season on the road with a 6-0 thrashing over Augsburg in week eight, but all the points they've dropped so far this season have come away from home.

Of the 18 times these two sides have met, RB Leipzig have come away with all three points on ten separate occasions. However, Monchengladbach were unbeaten when they faced the two sides faced last season, winning at home and drawing away.
